What is Full Brick?

What is a full brick house?

Simply, the external walls are constructed with two layers (‘leaves’) of bricks, separated by an air gap (‘cavity’).
Most people choose to also build the walls between rooms in brick to maximise the benefits of full brick construction.

Inside and out, a full brick house looks like any other. The exterior can be face brickwork, or rendered and painted, or a blend of render and face brickwork. Internally, most people choose to plaster and paint.
That’s why we say your next home deserves full brick, the gold standard in housing.
